About
The Break Free Foundation is a concept formed over five years from professionals in the marine industry, answering social problems in Wales and filling a gap in education for Young People. The Break Free Foundation has been formed to facilitate a range of water based activities, education, and training programmes, for disadvantaged and disabled young people as well as other youth groups.
Initially the Foundation will be providing, in South Wales, access to equipment, premises and trained qualified staff for youth groups. The Break Free Foundation aims to provide these facilities ultimately to the whole of Wales.
The target groups are:
Young people between 13 and 25 focusing mainly on 14- 19 year olds who are;
- Physically and/or mentally disabled.

From an Ethnic minority.

Come from a deprived background.
- In a rehabilitation program.
- From youth groups.
- Young people on the verge of wayward behaviour.
- Young people who have committed minor crimes and who may be on the verge of committing more serious offences.
- Those Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET)
